Chad Chaisson and crew joined me today aboard the Bluewave. Perfect conditions presented us with clean water, calm winds, and a good tide. We had high hopes of crushing the fish with no problems. Well the fish didn't get the memo!! Zero fish at our first three stops. We finally broke the ice at out fourth stop. Stick and move over and over picking away. No birds diving no bait seen, completely unreal. We didn't give up though and kept grinding away until I was satisfied we had a respectful catch for the guys in such lock-jaw conditions. Regardless of the tough bite, the guys had a great time and day and were very thankful I stayed persistent to put them on some fish. Thanks guys for being so patient. Every single fish today was caught under a cork. Matrix Shad Shrimp Creole, Tiger, and the Reel Dat Lures. Not one fish today was caught tight lining.
