Hey guys, I'm in a little "club" it's more of just a group of people who fish really. We have 6-7 boats so far and we fish every 3 weeks. 25/man to fish a tourny, no club fee. I wish I could say its a catch and release, but I guess some of the guys are hungry.... We fish around the area nothing crazy I don't think. Let me know if y'all would like to fish. Prizes aren't much, But it's fun

Yea i would like to get in on this as well... Is it a partner tournament are every man for himself. I could get us all into 3 mile lake for a tourny if we only have 6-7 boats for a tourny. That would be a great location in early May. I find the bite better first and second week of May in there and no idea why. The last 2 years i did well that time of year. Would have to check my log but on 2 seperate days i had 15 pounds plus with 5 fish which is not bad at all in this area. Indian Creek and Chicot would be good as well.

You can do partner or no partner. So far everyone has had a partner, but I don't think anyone would mind fishing against a single manned boat. It's just a friendly group of folks who like to fish and throw in a little money to make it competitive. I'll let you guys know when we have our next meeting.

Just talked to one of the guys who is kind of leading us and we are probably going to have a meeting next Wednesday and fish May 10th. Destination unknown

i come in from offshore that wednesday please let me know what time and where the meeting is if i'm allowed to attend

Acadiana Bass Club is one I was in, has some good guys in it. They meet in Milton once a month & have one tourney a month in places like Henderson, the Basin (usually out of Benoit), Bayou Teche near Patterson, Calcasieu River, Chicot w/ one or two a year in Toledo Bend & Rayburn.
