Ya she came by and signed moms book when she heard about mom were she lived and who she was. Funny how when the old lady's get together and play bridge how much word really gets around.

Now she put the new book out and I need to get it signed

And I garented I will use it on my boat when I move in.

Good lady. Good cook. Just a all around special person.

Go to Amazon and look. It's amazing what's out there. I like Amazon because It seems I can find anything I want there.

She is from St. Martinsville, her family owns the newspaper over there. The one cookbook that I do have from her is really good. I collect cookbooks so I'll have to pick that one up.

just bought "who's your mama" cook book on amazon...$18. My wife collects cookbooks too. Sounds like a good one there.

Yep who's ya mama.......good one.

No baloney is good too for boats.

I'm looking for other books with boat recipes . She may be the only cook to do one?

Still looking boat theam cook books.

It seems that if you do boats and cook there should be more books out there.

My favorite is called "White Trash Cooking" by Ernest Matthew Mikeler.

Well I guess it depends if you want to bring an onion or collard green sandwich on the boat. I will say that Marcelle's new book is the first that I have ever heard of that is specifically for on the boat. I'm glad that someone put some recipes together for such an occasion. You can't go wrong with Marcelle Bienvenu.

It's a cool book I'm looking for more books from boat people. Seems there might be a buck or two in this idea. I know a few things but I will wait till I get on my boat to start compiling . Thanks for the replies and keep cooking on the boat.
