Calcasieu River 5/3/14
 

I fished a tourney yesterday on the river. We launch at White Oak and ran North. Caught all of our fish between the first and second high lines, in a cove. White spinnerbait and wacky-worm watermelon red senko. We boated 8, the best 5 fish stringer was 12.1lbs. The biggest bass was 4.3lbs, and there were two more over 3lbs. Had a blast with good people.

Sounds great ! I gotta get up there and give it a shot.

Nice stringer for the river anytime! Has the water started cleaning up more! I went last weekend and it was stained but not as muddy as south of Serpent.
