Motor rebuild
 

I bought a 25hp 3 cylinder Suzuki that has a burnt piston. I am looking for someone to rebuild and make it run faster. .. Any local reference?

i would buy a whole new block instead of rebuilding it can get real expensive rebuilding than replacing you can try dhp on common they love messing with them motors

It's really just a piston but I would like to change sleeve. .... This motor has no corrosion in it so I don't think it needs a block

im not to shure who in lake Charles or surrounding area that can do a sleeve I have asked around myself even machine shops with no luck if you find one please let me know

Lake Area has a 2000 model, electric start Suzuki that is the cleanest motor I have seen in years. Motor looks like it has less than 40 hours on it, it is spotless, well kept, no corrosion, very nice unit. Probably be nearly as cheap to buy that, swap powerheads and keep spare parts. You will need spare parts, they are getting scarce.

Last sleeve I had replaced cost $125.00 for the labor, $87 for the sleeve and $50 for the shipping both ways. I sure wouldn't put a sleeve in a motor unless absolutely necessary.
