What's the reason for tough fishing? What are your thoughts for tomorrow and Sunday?

At least the size is looking pretty good.

Too much bait, too spread out, too salty.. uhh until this big rain at least. Add to that the unseasonable cool weather and continued barrage of strong fronts pushing water out of the marsh and the bays... keeps fish on their toes for sure.

This rain will help a lot. It will push a lot of fish back into the bays just as the summer is starting to heat up.

Shrimp not in lake and trout are scattered and not stacking up yet , plus another of other things as well

Now another big cold front to knock water back down to 50's

Maybe August it will finally get normal

nice catch

anyone know where to find clear water even though the conditions dont favor it, looking to go bow fishing tonight ( alligator gar, reds, flounder ), we have been doing well but where we typically go is muddied up

Behind any point and sometimes the marsh will be clearer than the open bay.

i guess looking at the lake on google earth, points dont really stick out to me and i'm not THAT familiar with the lake, we typically are in oyster bayou, fishing it west, then once we are out of it, we go around the island on the right
