Rick Woolsey flew in from California yesterday to fish with me today. His dad **** also joined us. I normally would of rescheduled today, but no rescheduling when your in town for one day. We loaded up with bait shrimp and didn't even waste our time looking for trout. With the wind blowing 25 mph, water temp down 10 degrees, and water level down almost two feet.....we did our best!! First few stops found goose eggs. Rick finally hooked up with a good red, but it spit the hook! We kept moving and grinding until the ice finally broke. Puppy drum, reds, Bay Snapper finally hit the deck. Two trout hit the Matrix but they both dropped off! Tough day to say the least but the guys still had a great time being on the water. First time in six years fishing with these guys that we didn't limit out or close to it!!!! Thanks again guys and I look forward to our next trip.
