What is the best braided line for red fish?

mriguy 05-23-2014 12:50 PM

I prefer PowerPro

Crawl79 05-23-2014 12:58 PM

I have been using the Power Pro Slick

i rather the regular power pro than the slick. 40# for reds works great.

I used power pro for years....now I prefer the smoother lines. Spiderwire ultracast and suffix 832,usually 30 or 50lb.

I used 20lb power pro.. you still get that spongey feel and knowing that the line wont break if you man handle them reds and still have a great fight with them

I use the WindTamer line in 30 lb test.

If you're sporting that braid make sure that you're putting lunkers in someone's face
