new shot gun

ok, im thinking of doing it. Im going to piss the ole lady off and either go buy a super black hawk eagle 2 or the extrema 2. cant really decide which one to go get. any suggestions.

extrema 2 for sure between those two...my buds got one and it eats low brass crap shells and hasn't given him a lick of problems...of course though you need to shoulder both and see how they feel and swing.

I upgraded to the SBE II last year .... I love it...I would also suggest looking at browning Maxxus...The best way is to go to a gun shop and see which fits you better

I have a SBE 2 and the Super Nova pump....My next gun will be the Winchester X3 Auto....My father in law bought the new Beretta Xtrema (his does not have the kick off pad) and it is a nice gun.

Cap, last time I was in G&H they were selling the black synthetic Extrema 2 for $1150 plus tax, and you got a free kick off with it, they mail it to you after the purchase. Great Deal!

I have the Extrema 2, love it, but gotta have the kick-off for the big shells!

i talked to a guy at G&H and he said they were having troubles with the extreme 2. Something about the way it shoots 3 1/2 shells. he didnt specify what it is doing wrong but i bet it is jamming. cant find a great price on them also. any suggestions on where to go.

I can promise it ain't jammin, mine is four years old, gets cleaned beginning and end of season, and it will shoot the low brass 2 3/4 to the 3 1/2. What it is doing with the 3 1/2 is kicking like a mule, that's why you need the kick off, but they don't tell you that. It's a $350 option that should only come standard!

My point exactly Capt., I bought the extrema 2 black synthetic for $1150, without the kickoff, going to save a few dollars. Took it home shot it: 2 3/4 and 3 inch not to bad, loaded up a couple of 3 1/2's and holy cow almost broke my shoulder. Bought the kickoff for $350, installed it, and shoots like a dream, best gun I ever shot, hardly any recoil, even with the 3 1/2's. That's why the SBE II is $1500 dollars, there are no options and the Extrema 2 should be sold with the kick off for $1500. We live in southwest Louisiana, we hunt ducks and geese, and like the Berreta rep. said, if you gonna shoot 3 1/2's you better have the kickoff.

You got the right idea, handle each one and see which is more comfortable for you, and shop on price. They are all good guns. Good luck, I think you'll enjoy whichever one you choose, these new guns shoot sweet!:)
