anyone know the size threads on a 2009 Mercury 90 hp to be able to lift the motor off of the transom:rotfl:

no one knows the size of the threads on top of the flywheel for the lifting rings?????

I would think its either standard U. S. or metric . If it don't thread easily I wouldn't force it. Then again I have never fooled around with a merc. or saw where a motor was lifted from the flywheel. You may want to have someone who knows what they are doing help you out or do it for you.

Mercury sells the tool to lift their engines properly. I never bothered to measure the threads. It would be US Standard threads.
