ESI arrived at The Reel Inn Dularge Sunday night and were treated to a boiled seafood dinner prepared by Chef Rickie Daigle. After breakfast we had four boats head out in search of the bronze backs. All boats found a slower than usual bite, but still managed to put together a mixed box of reds, puppy drum, bass, and a few lost trout. We made it back for a weigh in of a five fish red stringer, cleaned fish, ate lunch, rested up.....then we departed around 2pm on round two!!! Round two had us in search of the yellow mouths. No one was disappointed, as they were stacked up and waiting for us. All four boats got on the fish and crushed them. The fish were in a feeding frenzy feeding on shrimp and we had them jumping into the Bluewave everycast. We used the new Vortex Shad double rigged in BlazinHornet, Purplehaze, and Shrimpcocktail. The new baits are awesome and the fish love them. Thanks guys for a incredible day.
