Duck Shrimp and tasso paella
6 Attachment(s)
Well guys, my crew is out of town so I decided to eat some grub they would never eat.
Inspired from the latest duck cooking on here, I defrosted some ducks and decided on a paella. It is kinda like a Mexican jambalaya. Attachment 71738 I gathered the ingredients and started to fry my wild rice to break the hulls. I wanted to add more earthy flavors so in goes the Envie! Attachment 71739 As it cooks, I pan sear my duck breast after a quick marinade of Dale's Seasoning and fresh cracked pepper. Attachment 71740 After the wild rice is almost cooked, time to add the Spanish rice and seasonings. Saffron is the kicker here guys! Add the shrimp and slice the duck breast and ready to serve! Attachment 71741 It was awesome and the office gets to enjoy some today too! Attachment 71742 Time for mine! Attachment 71743 Enjoy! Ragin Cajun |

Looks like the real deal, the way the bottom is worked and made- if that makes any sense.

Got the pan at world market. Takes some getting use to, I'm a black iron pot type of guy.
It was very good. I even brought some over to Parish Brewery (neighbors) so they could taste. They enjoyed too! |
Wow ! You guys are pushing the limits here !!!
