More GI Mangroves

Smacked them silly again today. 50 mangroves, plus 2 cobia to round out the box.
We didn't catch a lot of the plus sized fish this time. More 3-5lb fish. The water cleaned up a bunch from last week and the bigger fish were very leader shy. We had to drop down to 30# flouro, and the big ones were hard to stop. Seas we about as calm as it gets. |

Beautiful day. Water was flat calm on my end too and pretty green. I was surprised after all the rain.

Nice trip. It doesn't get much more fun than catching a pile of gray snapper like that!

Yella, I told Michelle about this mangrove slaying and she looked at me asking why I didn't take off work so we could go. (She's off on Wednesdays) so we may make a trip in a week or two. ;) NICE WORK!!! |
