Or can recommend someone in Lafayette?


Need some chainsaws serviced.

I use Congress Outdoor Power. They are on Congress Street headed west out of Lafayette.
Not sure what kind of chain saws you have, but they are a stihl dealer. Sure they service anything.
Nothing outstanding to brag about though. Just saying I use them with no issues.

called blacks monday for some prices on trailer parts................................still waiting. my parts are being shipped already from another place.

congress outdoor. i bought my echo weedeater from them and about a year later it wasn't running right. i brought it in and they said it was under warranty and didn't charge me. My father in law also gets his sthil chainsaw serviced there. he has no complaints

I actually dropped them off at Blacks before the negavitive responses rolled in.

Origianlly went to sharpen the blade. Says I need a new one. Changes new one and rethreads the bolt that tighens the chain.

Other saw needed a new pull rope, spark plug, oil cap, and chain.

$190.00 :cool:

Stuff I sould have done myself but figured Id try to save some time.

Not too bad to deal with other than not being able to tell me if it would be a month or a day before its ready.

Champagne's in Broussard is excellent. They have worked on my Stihl tools several times and always do it in a reasonable time and price.

Talk to Lisa at Congress, she is the service girl….very helpful and they seem on top of it all
