what are the best jig heads (brand) for big lake?
What style and brand of jig heads do you recommend for fishing big lake?
Whatever Waltrip uses is the best, I'm sure. :smokin:
personal preference, I like 1/8 ounce with a sharp hook
Depends on the current/tides too.
Anything is good, but lighter weights will give you a little more action. |

I seen a fishing show where they tested the colors a fish sees.
They tested black, red and yellow. The fish see yellow best, then red then black is the least visible. I use unpainted too, just cause they are easiest to find and cheapest. I have used some hooks that are weighted on the shank lately, no visible lead head. |
i use the swampbuster xl 1/8" unpainted
