Farmers Market
 

Saw an article on FB about a new farmers market being built in Boyce La. Since Boyce is only 20 miles from me I'm thinking that's great. Then I read the article. It's funded by the USDA because Boyce is considered a "food desert."
I was sure hoping for a true farmers market. People grow it, sell it, trade it, or just give it away from their own farms and gardens.
This farmers market is just a GMO market I'm afraid.

hopefully they allow local produce to be sold there as well...
