“Man, it’s unreal,” Poe said. “I can’t think of any time that we’ve caught better. It’s pretty easy, I’ll put it to you that way. It’s unbelievable,” he said. “We’re fishing four or five boats everyday, and four or five boats going in opposite directions and everybody is catching fish everywhere.” |
yep only 2 months behind when it should of happened.... Very cold winter hurt it pretty bad... Although coincidentally the fishing picked up extremely during the time that the weirs were open..... 50-60 sets of birds working from comm pt all the way to washout.... now that weirs are closed again.... ZERO birds.... im no scientist... just a below average fisherman who spends alot of time on the water.

ironic isnt it...
also, the poes have been on that lake so long that it doesnt matter what the fish are doing because they actually speak trout. |
Annnnnnd why on earth would they say fishing is bad. That's bad for biz.
|
Weirs have been open since June 6th
|
And there are still plenty birds
|
last 2 weeks havent found any.... i thought weirs were closed again... we called a couple weeks ago bc we were gonna go get some shrimp... and they were closing that day
