Grand isle beach fishing

going to Grand Isle to do some fishing , bringing small kids so will be fishing from the beach.. Is the beach fishing better in the early morning or late evening? never fished the beach down there before, any advice would be appreciated.

Elmers island would be the best spot early and than at sunset, live bait. The bridge at night is giving up whites but late. Crabs run off the bridge as well. Go on Google earth to see the road down to elmers, the bite is real early. Good luck!

Friday I picked up a few specks between 11am and 1pm. Bunch of sand trout too. All on Elmer's.

Thanks for the information.
I think that I am going start East of Pass on the inside along the rocks. If that does not work, will then move west ending up at Elmers. I am hoping that I do not make it all the way to , but as long as we get some decent fish it will be good.

Anyone else going to be around on Friday? If so, we should team up to find the schools.
