Led lighting

I am wanting to get some led lights put on my trailer to help with backing up boat in dark etc... Does anyone know where i can get some installed or have any experience with this.

you would probably need to make a harness and hook them up to your backup lights on your truck

I tried to find some for mine and the only thing i found is offroad light strips for a few hundred bucks. I get those round flood lights ( not the spot ) and mount them upside down on my hitch close to the frame under my truck. Angle them out some and down where they shine under the boat. Works pretty good for me. Just tie in to the reverse light on trailer harness and whenever you put in reverse they on. Comes in handy backing at night without boat also.

I'm planning on doing something similar to this on mine except running it to an auxiliary switch instead of tapping in to the reverse light wire. That should be plenty enough light for backing the boat into the launch on those early mornings.

Yea I would rather a switch but hooking to reverse would be ok I guess . I want the red/green running lights on the front of boat to be led as well

I just looked at the lights on amazon and went check clearance on receiver and was gunna get a bar like that till i realized when i put the hitch in with the drop 3/4 of the light will be shining on the drop. Decided to go with a 4inch round on each side the mount by the frame. $ 27.99 for 2 18 W....
