Acadian Air Med Landing

Got to experience an air med landing last night. Got paged out to a cardiac arrest patient and Acadian needed a landing zone. Here are 2 videos. One of the chopper landing and the other of it taking off.

Yea those choppers are pretty cool! I like to watch the coast guard Blackhawks do rescues on the Bering sea in pretty brutal conditions. Thanks to all those pilots and crews here and all over the country for being there when needed.

Acadian Air Med Landing

Now the parking lot is clean....They came into ExxonMobil a few times and the safety department people set up a landing area. I was involved if anything happened at night or weekends when I was on. Usually came in for burn injuries and left out headed for Galveston Hospital.
