fish freezing question

Do y'all recommend defrosting and refreezing fish? My son put some fish fillets in the freezer instead of fridge before I put water in the zip lock bags. They're frozen now in zip locks with no water. What do y'all think?

Leave them like that and use them within a month or 2 and they will be fine.

Oh, and here is a tip, when you thaw a bag of fish keep the water, put it in a pot on the stove add a lil seasoning to taste and bring to a simmer. Ya now have amazing fish stock ya can use in gravies, etc. and even refreeze.
