I have a colleague that is looking to rent a boat slip on/adjacent to Big Lake. I am aware that they are limited so maybe one of you can provide a lead.

Call Spicers marina. Get on a long waiting list. Herbert's marina even longer list I am told. Some new slips on choupique bayou just don't have a phone contact. Am going down Friday and will get number.

seems as though somone could make a great investment if they lived on the water

Seems like if they would clean up the Dugas they could make a killing there also.

Yeah forsure.... and build some more....start selling bait again....build a better launch.... Deff money to be made right there.

Well all U great minds should go BUY the place and make a half million investment.

Yeah, more need to rebuild so I can get more money. Or just go up on rent on certain people. :grinpimp::grinpimp:

Last time I went to Dugas landing , I had two old Texans come try to steal all my baits out my boat

Said they never knew artificial baits exists on the west side of lake

They wanted to know of I had a plastic to catch black drum and sheep head ,, guys said his name was Camp Canard

I saw a dozer clearing a waterfront area near Dugas the other day. As far as waterfront real estate with boat lifts or a pier constructed with lifts, the costs are unbelievable. Not as profitable as it may seem. But, a nice marina with bait, fuel, and a cafe sure would be nice!!
