Leeville Trip
4 Attachment(s)
We went down to Leeville last week after the weather lined back out after the front that passed through. Once the tides got right the water cleared up and the Specs were easy picking. Fished mostly 4" Gulp under a popping cork along the outflows from the marsh fish were suspended about 4 to 5 feet out side of the cuts. Fished the South Side of Hwy. 1 in all the marshes. never really found any slot reds while we were down there found some bull reds along the entrances to little lake. All in all a good trip had 40 specs over 2 days 60 white trout and 6 reds.

The trout are definitely there. Especially on the NW side of Leeville. We spoke to some guys that were there and they were finding Reds on the East side off the canals of Bayou Lafource
