new updates

i ve read several concerns abut only a couple needa be addressed. one is the launch, if we get an enormous amount of participants, we may have to relocate to calcasieu point landin due to parkin and room.we will letcha know if this occurs. next, the tourney fee will be paid that morning at the launch, no mail ins, that way noone can leave before legal tourney hours and be sittin on a fishing hole. i will use a shotgun start. then let the fun begin!! i am glad to see all of you guys that are eagerly embracing this opportunity ta fish and have fun for such a great cause. lets continue to raise any concerns and ask questions, we will address them accordingly. rome wasnt built in a day, so i know there will be goof ups. thanks, speckdaddy:grinpimp:

ok buddies, concernin kayaks, all kayaks are welcome. but, this will be considered a boat! although most kayaks only hold one person, the entry fee stands at $30.00. it will take far too much time and too many headaches to keep separate pots, payouts, etc.... for a separate set of rules and additions. i plan on keepin it simple and thats what ive chosen as far as the kayaks go.just remember guys, its for children, i need not say more. also, wherever the launch is held, you may launch at a different venue but, you may not leave the designated launch/weigh in area to launch till the shotgun launch is fired!! you may launch anywhere, just not before the tourney begins may you leave to launch elsewhere.thanks.please specify also if you are fishin in a kayak on the tourney thread.thanks guys

It would be nice to organize a second launch point on the west side, at Ellender Bridge or Spicer's. I don't normally trailer my boat....and I could about imagine trying to pull up to the dock at Calc Pt or Hebert's (were I've never been) and putting somebody out to go pay money....chaos.
