Survival food

OK winter setting in and people gunna be out late fish'n in the warm afternoons and hunting by boat. One thing about a boat is most places in the marsh you can't just get out and walk. Once it gets dark n cold even if you call by cell and get someone to come out to help you still gunna get hungry.....and you done drank all the wine and beer....and brandy....What ya'll got stashed for emergency.....non or not to perishable. I keep a can of nuts and good ole viennies.....Them lil wennies taste like steak when you stuck in the marsh and they good tucked away till spring........

I usually have a jar of dry roasted peanuts couple viennas, sardenes( I actually like the msutard, smoked hot sauce ones.) sometimes jerky and left over egg salad sammages(another story) I always have an extra gallon of water. Tarp and a couple of those space blankets and small panchos around too. I have spent several acidental nights in the swamps when the sun went down too fast to paddle out. Never went hungry or thirsty till it came back up. Of course that was years ago pre GPS
