Went today no shrimp. Shrimp are on east side.. Crabs were running pretty good.

Sounds like the windy from cold front was too much and too long for a whole week (last week) causing the front pushed shrimp out of the inshore back to the Gulf.

Rustyb, thanks for the shrimp report!

Where is east end locks?

rustyb 11-23-2014 11:40 AM

The other entrance about 100 yards before the joseph harbor entrance. Coming from pecan island.

whitneyromeroiii 11-24-2014 10:01 AM

How many locks do they have on the east side?

rustyb 11-24-2014 12:14 PM

Many people cast net at the launch. And then there are a couple down the canal. Little and big Constance are at least ten miles down the canal to there wiers. Never seen anyone cast netting there. Usually crabbers.
