Unfortunately, everyone has other commitments this year and no one took the lead on this.

If someone wants to take over, I'll be happy to advise. Unfortunately, my schedule has gotten so hectic in the last couple of years, that I no longer am available to do all that is needed to make this successful.
I'm sorry that I can't do it any longer. If anyone wants to take over, it's short notice but, I'll tell you how I've been doing it for the last 3 or 4 years. I can about guarantee you that someone here knows someone that is in need of help this holiday season. Since I don't have the time to devote to SC like I used to, my cell would be the best way to contact me if you're interested in taking the lead on this. My # is 225-253-2267. Guys.. I used to belong to a singles mardi gras krewe in Lafayette. We used to donated food baskets to Hospice.. U can't believe the family's that can't afford a christmas dinner when a loved one is dying..
Hopsice did all the delivering.. All we did was buy the fixxings for a complete dinner. Turkeys, rice or cornbread dressing mix, rolls, greenbean's etc.. U get the Idea. It's GREATLY APPREICATED BELIEVE ME..I USED TO DONATE 10 TURKEYS FOR THKSGIVING, THEN ALSO AT X-MAS.. Just a thought. Gunner |
I'm at work and will be through January. Last year my wife and I did the shopping. I'm sure she will be willing to help again this year. If needed someone please contact me via PM and I'll talk to her.
