Help with Shark ID?

Caught these recently on a trip to GI. We think the top one is a bull shark, and the bottom one is a nurse shark. Agree? Disagree? Both swam away after release.

Nurse sharks usually have two barbells hanging from the nose, cant really see them in the picture.

I do believe you are correct.

Attachment 79593 I use this app all the time for fish identification it also has federal regulations. Once downloaded you can use it even if you don't have internet connection. Just thought I'd share [emoji4]

i don't know my shark species all that well, but I would agree based on the little knowledge I have, which is flat face=bull shark, two barbell on mouth/funny looking head= nurse HA

First one definitely a bull.
Second one I don't think is a nurse.

Looking at pictures of nurse sharks I really don't think that is one. Head seems to be shaped wrong. Mouth and eyes don't really match in my opinion. With that being said I really don't know sharks just going by the online information.

Immature Lemon Shark

Thanks for the feedback guys. After reviewing a lot of photos of known lemon sharks, I am in agreement that this was a lemon shark.

One reason this was of particular interest is that even though we caught a small one, a much larger one (7-10 ft) cruised by in very shallow water with identical markings on its dorsal fin and tail. Kinda scary from a wading viewpoint.

We saw more sharks from the E end of Elmer's island than from any other shore fishing location in Louisiana. Duckman, if you want to chase sharks, this is probably a good place.
