22 ammo

academy is getting some stock of 22 ammo in, still limited to 1 box of 300 or more, the hoarders are still stock piling so it is still selling out, but the guy said that they are getting larger shipments in all the time, i picked up a 1000rd box of winchester M22 for $50, i was hoping for some remington but they only had those in 22shorts, if any one has some remington 22lr golden bullets they want to trade round for round in the lafayette area, my box is unopened and i would pay the difference if you have an unopened bucket or boxes

They get their shipments on Thursday?

fishfighter 12-19-2014 08:07 AM

I have a BUNCH of CCI, they have been pretty good to shoot.

As of about 7:45 last night they still had about 20-25 300 round boxes of CCI left and a good bit of the 100 round packs of CCI also. They also had a pretty good stack of thunderbolts.

This was in Lafayette?

I'll go check out Houma tonight. I use to go to Wal-Mart every day at lunch to check on Ammo, that's how i got a lot of my .22LR. I probably have over 6,000 rounds

Academy on Ambassador has plenty boxes of Aguila, CCI, and Remington, thunderbolt and golden bullet, ammo. Limit of 5 and they won't sell any by the brick.

Fyi, they have 520 rd 55gr .223 steel case FMJ in a sardine can for $150.

Yesterday, I looked at the ammo cabinet at the north Lake Charles Walmart.

There was no 22 cal. amno. But for the first time in over a year, there was some .243 cal bullets from a couple of manufactures.

Generally it looked like there was a lot more ammo in the cabinet than usual.

I find .243 is tougher to get than .22

I went to academy on ambassador caffery again today and they a good bit of .243 ammo.

Somebody in Houma must be buying up all of the .243 at Academy. I have a few boxes, I'll be patient with it and get some as I see it.

AubreyLaHaye458 12-22-2014 08:41 AM

The academy in Alexandria had a good bit of .22 ammo Friday night when I went.
