Louisiana lifetime fishing license

Ok, Louisiana lifetime fishing license question.

I have searched the Dept. of wildlife and fisheries web site and can't find an answer, I'll probably call, but wanted to ask here if anyone knew.

The requirements to obtain the lifetime fishing is pretty clear, but what if you move out of state? Is it still valid? It is a "Lifetime" license.

Two reasons I ask, at some point (5yrs) we will be moving to N AR, and I plan on coming back to LA on a regular basis to fish, second my elder uncle has a Oklahoma lifetime fishing license, he said its valid in OK no mater where he lives

Does anyone know if a LA lifetime is good for a lifetime no matter where one lives?

Thanks

Still good for me. I got checked last time I was home. Not valid in Virginia.

Here is a question can you get one if you are a La native and live in another state. I have a friend who lives in Tx now and would like to get one.

Don't think so, you have to prove you currently live in the state.

I think you have to have just a valid La license and a voters card or something else
