went deer hunting last saturday 4 doe's came out watched them for about 15 minutes waiting for the buck it was getting dark so i had to shoot a doe does any one think there was a buck around them or was he waiting for dark to show hisself

Went this morning..had a doe run up behind me, stop, seen something she didn't like and trotted off..(wind was in my favor, couldn't get a shot) so i said to myself,"well, she didn't act real scared. She'll come back. Sure enough she made a big circle and came out 60 yards away. Once again not giving a shot, wind switched she threw that head up and smelt me thru all the scent block i had on, she got a whiff i guess. Didn't want to shoot if I didn't have a good shot, i was hoping she smelt a buck or something, but guess not :(



My dad hunted his stand this morning(which has been full of deer) and NONE today!

50 acres of land logged not to long ago, my friend knows land owners in winnfield and they don't hunt so they said we can hunt for free, have a few 50 acres spots to hunt

I was just about to ask where ya was hunting at.

about 2 hours and 45 minutes from home to hunt and about 1 hour and 30 minutes to big lake a lot of traveling huh!

Man thats meat in the freezer! I just completed my hunters safety course and got my huntin license today. Going huntin next weekend to try for my first deer. I am pumped up man!

My boss has 500 acres in Ethal. I did work on the land all summer for him so I can hunt any time. I have seen alot of deer out there. Beautifull place.
