Sit on or sit in?
What would yall rather in a kayak? I like the sit-on models for the most part. Do they track well. Pros and cons?
Also, are the ones at bass pro any good? I was looking at the 12ft model

I have the ascend 12 sit on top. I like it for the money, but then again you'd do yourself a lot of good to spend a little more and get an entry level jackson. The ascend is the best at that price point thoomugh

I saw a lot of kayakers this fall out of Hopedale. All were sit on tops. Save up for the Hobie if you can afford it. I can do 3.2 mph on my trolling motor per gps and those guys with the Hobies were keeping up with me without much effort. That's damn fast for a people powered craft.

I have a 12' Pescador from Academy and really like it. I'm actually thinking about selling it along with everything on it due to not using it and recently getting laid off.

Good luck Landry...Hope this turns around fast for you. We got our CEO letter today warning of the layoffs that coming "immediately", so its going to get uglier.

I prefer sit on, there self bailing and better when fishing. and cleaning after use.
