I was thinking about getting one of these just to get oysters for personal use. I'm looking for advice, any thoughts?

That's one of the things I'm trying to find out before I buy it. I looked on ldwf website and didn't see anything saying it was but its not real clear on oystering rules!

Wonder if you still have to stay in the oyster only zones for personal use ?

You can go to Keslo Bayou on low tide and hand pick all you want

There are rules on when and where the public can pick. And they take that sh** serious. Even if I found the rules I would call the local WLF office.
