They really look great and I am sure they were. Lately we have gotten lazy and have been doing cabbage casseroles in the ole black iron pot. lay down cabbage spoon in the goodies more cabbage and repeat till the pots full top with cabbage sauce cheese whatever we feel like put the lid on and put pot in oven. A lazy way to do the same thing and always delicious. We have sued beef pork shrimp and Crawfish at one time or another all were good. The last one was green onion sausage. Aint it fun to experiment and try stuff??

That sound good n easy too Cappy....Gunna have to go that route one day...

I just made like meat loaf and added rice . Looked online and basically said 1 cup cooked rice for 1 # ground beef but next time I'll put 1 1/2 to 2 cup rice....Used a can of spagetti sauce with bell pepper , onion , celery , shallot , garlic , italian seasoning....Put on top after rolling meat in cabbage leaves...Parmasion cheese on top....Bake 375 1 1/2 hr.....

N0 doubt about it that would be killer. We just make like loose meat sauce and layer. but yours are done right!

Cabbage is amazing. It smells like **** when you cook it but has an awesome flavor when you eat it.

Has anyone ever tried collard rolls? We did some stuffed with dirty rice, in a spicy creole sauce. Came out really good.
