Binoculars
 

Does anyone use binoculars to locate bait jumping, slicks, or birds working? And no I'm not talking about looking for bent rods lol. I want to get a good pair for the boat and was wondering if anyone else uses this and if its effective.

Hmm....I guess im the only one that's thought of this or is willing to admit it....

had some in the boat for a while. used them a couple of times to check which type of birds were diving in the distance. but I had crappy ones and they weren't very effective.

I got a some, but I really don't use them

If the conditions are right........ you can hear the seagulls before you see them.

I can see a fish getting flipped in the boat from Quintana clear to the camps across the cove.
