Weekend Report

The Bluewave has been busy. Friday and Saturday I helped Capt. Marty out with BISSO Marine. The crew wasn't photogenic so no pics were taken. We spent a couple hours Friday catching reds. The slot red bite was tough but the Bulls wanted to play. Friday we spent a few hours chasing the trout. Pretty rough conditions had us picking throughout the day. Overall it was pretty tough fishing but when Chef Rickie is cooking all is good. Thanks Capt. Marty for the trips.
Today, Byron Lemoine's crew came down. They bow fished last night with Capt. Terry and had a great time shooting up the reds. Tired but ready to roll the crew jumped on the Bluewave. We had some showers to deal with but the trout wanted to play. We hit two stops and the K2 was filled. We did get wet but my crew didn't mind since there were many doubles slung into the boat. Double rigged Matrix in avocado and purple haze worked slowly and at times just letting them drift like fishing live bait was the ticket.
