Attachment 91733Attachment 91734Attachment 91735Attachment 91736Attachment 91737Attachment 91738I took my 7 yr old; a coaching friend and his 14 yr old down to Coccodrie for a trip on Saturday. After a huge meal at Coco's marina we settled in for the night. We were up bright and early and met the guide who loaded us down with crockers and glass minnows. This was the first time they've fished with live bait and my son's and guests second ever guided trip.

The first stop paid off to be the most fruitful with the trout stacked pretty thick. We caught 25 trout in roughly 45 mins. The guide was very busy so I helped mainly helped keeping the guides baited and in the water.

Once the bite slowed we bounced around most of the day picking up reds and other undesirables. We ended up turning in around 1 when it just got to hot.

We eneded up with 30 trout and 4 reds. We all had a a great day on the water and I am proud of my little man. He gets better every time we go; may be a real fishermen before long.
