HELP!!!
Ok guys, decided to change my lower unit oil today and seen the worst thing you could possibly see. Milky oil and small shavings. Ahhhh!!! I know my seals will need to be replaced but i dont know about the shaving? I noticed when i would put it in reverse i would have a grinding noise, i would i have to slam it in reverse for it would not to do it so my guess is thats what the shavings are from. Im in the Lafayette area and motor is an 06 yamaha 115 four stroke. Does anyone recommend a good mechanic? Maybe H&M in Crowley? And what is the estimated cost to fix this? Help please!

Stay away from H and M... Shakes(Spelling) in south crowley as u leaving town on hwy 13 is awesome...It's by a vet clinic I think on the right.. Just know some; shaving are normal...
If he has to do the whole lower unit.. If its just seal proper shaft seal?? Not much... |

Kurt Savoie in Branch does good work. I too have heard to stay away from H&M.
