Big lake mapping

4 Attachment(s)
I started mapping some areas this year. mainly the ship channel which i have a good bit done from cal point to the jetties, and a small area in cove. here are a few pics of some areas in the ship channel. as you zoom in you see more detailed info once uploaded to your unit, depths etc.

All this info can be placed on a lowrance unit or hummingbird unit. If you'd like to join the big lake mapping team.

As we get more people to record sonar logs, thats more info to create a real time contour map of the lake. call me for more info. Lawrence 3377812898

Boat with transducer installetd correctly, ans gps that has the capabilities to record sonar logs.

The mapping team

we are recording sonar logs every trip on a sd card. i take those logs download them to my computer.

Once on my computer I use a program call reefmaster pro to create the contour maps feom all the sonar logs. once the maps are made I put the map on a sd card and back in my unit. the maps have contours depths etc.

If your sonar screen is blacking out or going blank while on step. your transducer is installed in the wrong place. the transducer is losing contact with the water.
