Corps building a dam across bayou to mud cove.
 

i was going fishing this week and when i turned off the GA cut above the beehive i came across some workers flagging off the spot where they will be building a earth dam across the bayou.

they ought to call it 10 dollar dam, cause i'm gonna have to burn 10$ worth of gas to go around the mofo to get to Mud Cove.

what reason could they have for this dam except to fill in the basin faster?
i guess somebody deer hunts there and wants less boat traffic?

messed up situation.

I used to hunt mud cove all the time for duck season 10-15 years ago. That bayou sure has silted up over the years. No idea what the reason would be for that.
