some winter trophy trout tips

Some of my tips for winter trophy trout. Please add yours too but here are some of mine.Bright sunny days after harsh fronts are known to send big trout onto shallow mud and grass. If it has been very cold and water temps are in the high 40's to low 50'sthey willl move shallowas it warms up.Sometimes finding them wont gaurentee they will bite because they want to warm up but eventually they will.A trout who has sat on the bottom riding outthe coldwiil evetually move shallow to eat.Considering that mullet and other trout are the only food available for trout in the dead of winter. It pays to focus on schools of small trout and mullet.Take the days temp. and the temps from the two previous days and you can pretty much figure out where they will be.This is just my 2 cents. Please add to it .
