Jack Plate Information

I've never had a bay boat with a jack plate. Can someone please explain to me the advantages of one? And when and how to use it. Also, any information on trim tabs, Thanks alot

trim tabs are a great. i have them on my boat. when it's ruff choppy it keeps your bow down. also helps leveling out the boat if to much weight is on 1 side.

I use my jack plate to get up in shallow water and when I'm running in shallow water.

I run a 12" Bob's Hydraulic Jack plate....excellent for shallow water access. With Trim tabs....you can not go wrong...
