How to know? If the river is 4' at New O?

I've fished out of Venice for the last 8 years. Long trip trailering a boat from East Texas!
'bout 500 miles...

We fish from the second weir down, about 20 miles on the west, to Burrwood Bay.. about 27 miles down the river on the left.

Always had good success.. until last year.

The river was up(early, November) and we couldn't find a bite.. anywhere.
Actually. the river looked like chocolate milk!

Is there a website that monitors the river's flow at New Orleans?

I'd hate to make the drive and take the hit that we did last year..

We went from catching aroumd 500# of redfish a day.. to catching one red that weighed 13# in three days!

Help!
