wondering if the specks have moved inside in any numbers as of yet?

also are there schools of white trout showing up as well? I love those too

are the gaftops as bad as last year as well?


planning a trip next weekend for some city folk never fished from a boat before and I want to find them enough to bring home a good mess of fish.

we will be launching at the GM public launch for catfish lake area

fished there for many years and have a decent knowledge of the area but this is my very first trip this year so any suggestions or tips are welcomed

Fishing there this weekend. Will let you know how I do

I know a few people that fished there for a tournament on Friday. They did ok but not until later in the morning when the tide shifted. They caught reds no specks. I think it is still a week or two early.

Friend went this am, limit on reds but only two small specs. He fishes there all winter and said give it two or three weeks till I come down for the trout.

I will just get some shrimp and cut mullet and target some points for reds then.
