V bay 11-15
 

Headed out this morning and fished the cove and mouth of shark bayou, water was real muddy. Managed to get 3 keepers, fished till about 12. Tons of boats in the cove.

wish I was there

I wonder if there was ton of boats were they catching or just waiting for action to happen. Also it sucks to hear that the water still is muddy. The next storm coming in gonna bring even more muddy water for sure. But at least three is better than zero!

Didn't see many rods bending just a couple here and there is what I saw.

Ah either the fish shave a lock on their mouths or may be moving around. I wonder what the sanity is in vbay must be really low due to fresh water flushing in from rivers .

I went with a buddy around 2:oopm this eve and we fished till sun down and caught 15 trout,it was slow but most people we saw caught a few.

Salinity has been way down the last couple of days

At least they are around but gonna be slow for a good while until we get longer dry weather but from what i hear that we gonna have a wet cold winter but who know what Mother Nature has up her sleeves .

I fished the afternoon of 12/14 and managed 5 missing 5 more. All very scattered in the cove drifting with wind. Glow/Chartreuse gulp swimming mullet. Fished Sunday, 12/15 starting at 10am and only managed 4, missing 2. Saw a few folks having better luck specifically 2 guys in a canoe with a trolling motor trolling the cove and in front of camps. They had the magic speed/bait and I saw them catch at least 10 but probably ended up with many more. Bite both days very slow and basically sitting on the bottom. Wish the bait shop had live shrimp!
