West Texas Meat Haul
 

Came back again this year to a friend of our family's ranch and so far we are 3 for 3
3 shots 3 kills

I got a big body Axis for some meet

Wife shot a nice little 8pt
And a Fallow buck also . She made her longest shot ever so far on that fallow buck . Over 200 yards .
Going to hunt tomorrow and try and shot a Bigger whitetail , saw a huge 10 today but never could get a clean shot on it ..

Well didn't see a hammer this am worth me shooting but let my wife shot another 8pt

Ended up with a ton of meat for sure

2-8pt white tails
1 - axis buck
1- fallow buck

I'm heading to south Texas with buddies at end of year so might get me a wall hanger there
Will have to be 150 class for me to shoot

Zapata

One of my good buddies leased 7,000 ranch about 5 years now ...

Said its needs a good week of killing because they have to many does and some small rack bucks that have to get taken out

1st 3 years they did not take any big bucks off of it and now they are starting to take a few a year

Used to have a lease in Zapata county. Brush country. Got some big boys out there.
