Not sure the problem your having but I had one low on freon last yr and ended up just replacing/ upgrading it. Cost around 800-900 for unit with new inside cover and took me and my dad less than an hour (4 screws and unplug connection).... got price off adventurerv.net and southern mobile home/ rv matched it.

any a/c company that works on window a/c units will service it for you. not all of them will work on window units. not sure why but some companies dont so its something you have to ask about.

Most don't work on them because they are disposable. The cost to repair is more than, or a big percentage of the cost to replace.

Got it going. For anyone else out there, there is a guy that travels in a camper and goes where the big construction jobs are and works on them. Even performs warranty work which my sons was under warranty.

yep, just like with window units, if it needs a fan motor or compressor its just as cheap to replace as fix it, but if its a bad switch, thermostat, or just needs Freon, they are relatively cheap to get fixed
