Barn/Shop recommendation?
Looking for builders and suppliers of pole barns/metal frame barns. I will be clearing property soon and looking to have a 40x50 building put up in Moss Bluff area. If anyone does this or recommends someone or can steer me away from bad companies also any suggestions for the building.
I already plan for at least 14' eve to clear rv along with possibly plumbing it to put in apartment for short term living (depending on parish approval). It will be 40' deep x 50' wide with 3- 12x14 roll up doors. |
Try Mallett building's in Iowa

I bought with Mallet 2 years ago. Have been very satisfied.

thought there was a big controversy with them?

I recently built a steel building in Hackberry and I bought it from Muellers in Orange, tx. I am very happy. My installer was out of Vinton la.

Mueller is one of the companies I was going to a price from. I am torn with the wood poles vs metal frame, not sure if once is really better than the other and not sure of cost difference yet but I am sure I want it to last a lifetime.

Ive heard very mixed reviews of Mallet. I would look somewhere else. Just my opinion I have no experience with them

I am leaning towards a red iron (all metal) building but would like anyone's ideas that deal or have dealt with these buildings. I have experience with building houses but these shops are a different game for me and I want to have it right.
|
Only thing with red iron. I would sure paint structure metal before putting sheet metal. My old shop was rusty after only a few years. The red is only a primer. My new shop I went with galvanized metal.

Think Reed's metal does both pole barns and metal. They are in Lake Charles
