Playa del Carmen

Headed to playa del carmen in a couple weeks. Want to try my luck with a great cap and crew. I have never hired a charter there and I'm looking for advice. I dont want to go snorkel or site seeing, I want to catch fish, wahoo and tuna mostly. I can bottom fish year round out of cypermore point.

Any recommendations??

If you've never been snorkeling over a coral reef do that at least one day. As far as a charter I have no clue. Maybe look at some reviews on TripAdvisor.

I would recommend looks,g online and checking reviews for a charter. Of you were headed to the Pacific side I could hook you up with a bunch of info and a super guide in Zihuatanejo. I found him by surfing the internet and reading reviews. He is an American down there so he could set us up and be our middleman with the guides.
I would be cautious about the guys that walk around hustling trips. They are usually a scam. Good guides book well in advance so do your research before hand and book ahead of time.
