Almost Never!!! Once a year if any!!!! Whip down out side with oil sometimes and just oil!!!

LaAngler 05-31-2009 08:25 PM

thats why you have to keep buying new ones all the time

I have an older style Curado thats making noises when i reel. I was gonna take it apart this time i was home but i had to rush to work. any one have any ideas or suggestions before i tear into it? and what might be a few places to send them to, salty, that can fix them if something is messed up. it still casts and reals really well, just makes a grinding noise... i know it aint sand because i already sleaned it out. I think its because the line spool is rubbing against the inner lining of the reel housing, might have a wore out bearing or something... what yall think?

After I fish I spray them off with water at the car wash when cleaning my boat. Works fine.
